Shipping label to 4×6 converter

Upload the label PDF your platform gave you — the tool finds each label on the page, trims the margins, rotates when needed, and gives back a standard 4×6 in thermal-label PDF. Files never leave your browser.

Label PDF

Auto-crop finds the printed label on each page — top, bottom or sideways — and extracts just that region.

A small white margin around the label helps most thermal printers feed cleanly.

Waiting for a PDF — every label on every page becomes one 4 × 6 in (101.6 × 152.4 mm) page.

Converted label previews will appear here.

How it works

The tool renders each page of your PDF at print resolution, scans for the bounding box of printed pixels, crops that region with the margin you chose, then repacks every cropped label into a fresh PDF where each page is exactly 4×6 in (288×432 pt). Sideways labels are detected and rotated upright automatically.

Which files it handles

Works with label PDFs exported from marketplaces, ERPs and carriers — e.g. a shipping label placed on an A4 or Letter sheet, two-up half-page labels, or a landscape label inside a portrait page. If a page holds two separate labels, split the PDF first so each label gets its own page.

Printing tips

In the print dialog choose the paper size that matches your media — 4 × 6 in (101.6 × 152.4 mm) for this tool — and scale “Actual size” (100%), not “Fit to page”. If your driver lists the media as 100 × 150 mm, set the printer media to that size.

Frequently asked

What size do thermal label printers need?

Nearly all 4-inch desktop thermal printers (Zebra ZD/GK, DYMO 4XL, Rollo, Brother QL and similar) take 4×6 inch media (101.6×152.4 mm); some drivers label the media 100×150 mm. This tool outputs 4×6 in — set the printer to the actual media size and print at "actual size / 100%".

My label sits on half an A4 page — can you crop it?

Yes. Auto-crop finds the non-blank region on every page, so labels at the top, bottom, centre or edge are extracted individually, and sideways labels are rotated upright into portrait 4×6. If a platform packs two labels on one page, split it first for best results.

Will the output be blurry?

Output quality depends on the source PDF, crop, scaling and printer. Pages render at roughly 300 DPI before being written back into the PDF — inspect the exported file and test a printed barcode before using labels for shipments.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

Never. Parsing, cropping and repacking all happen inside your browser — nothing is sent to a server, and the tool even works offline.

Why does it still print shrunk?

In the print dialog pick paper size 4×6 in (101.6×152.4 mm) — or the size marked on your actual media — and scale "actual size / 100%", not "fit to page". Some drivers also have a separate media-size setting that must match.
